Prime Time

i never thought of doom. not once.

i don’t know why, but i must share, i still have hope.

perhaps it’s because i sing a song about faith and keep it real and true?

perhaps it’s because i love so deeply?

perhaps it’s because when abusive behavior presents itself, i recognize my value and worth?

perhaps it’s the way i am left alone to be with my thoughts and realize how gorgeous it feels to know my feelings linger and are still there?

whatever it is, remember, don’t give up.

when we look up into the sky, remember we have thousands of ancestors who look down upon us.

every day is a Prime time for our love and heaven is betting on us.
